Long Weekend Sketching

Normally, I won't post my daily sketches - they're not very interesting. It's been a long weekend and I have a bit of drawings built up. My sketchbook drawings aren't as interesting as these drawings done on the Surface Pro 4 with Photoshop. I like my posts because a year or two from now when I look back at them I hope to see progress.


I find it difficult to understand a simple shape for the pelvis. Like, I get "it". I can describe it as this bowl shape that muscles/tendons attach to, but it's abstract for me. Admittedly,  I have some work to do. I gotta understand how the pelvis attaches to the rib cage and the degree of rotation between the two. Lemma figure that out.
